Previously, he worked as a freelancer at the law firm Clifford Chance in Frankfurt a. M. and long-time research associate at the Center for Labor Relations and Labor Law (ZAAR) in Munich. After completing his doctorate - including his dissertation on works constitution law - Prof. Selzer studied under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Richard Giesen completed his habilitation in civil law, labor law and social law at the Law Faculty of the LMU-Munich.
